ur saying you scored a 53 scaled verbal score? WOW

53 is the scaled score, its not 53%. 53 in verbal is absurdly high, its the first time i'm seeing someone get that score.

See, thats why I am confused. At the end of the exam (verbal only) I got 22 out of 41 correct which gave me 53% (logically correct).

So what is my scaled score?

if we are talking about the Gprep software here, then that software will provide you only scaled scores, never % correct/incorrect.

so, if at the end of the test, you see a breakdown like 800 (51Q 51V), then both 51s are your scaled scores for the respective sections. once you have those, you can cross-tally your percentile standing from the table at the back of OG11 (orange).

53% could be your percentile and not percentage! Gmat prep software indicates this. this is 53 percentile level in Verbal for you

wierd, my Gprep has always shown an * where the %iles should be. that makes sense too since %iles keep changing.

I took the verbal portion of the exam last night and got 53%

When I see others post thier scores is formatted 7XX V42 Q 53

So is 53% considered low or high in the CAT Gmat Prep Software?

Dude, I doubt whether you are using the authentic GMATPrep from mba.com. It always shows Quanta and Verbal Scores in vertical form
followed by cumulative scores. I am not sure about the percentage or percentiles in the score. In all my retakes, the GMATPrep has shown scores in the following format. Next time, I will remember to check the percentile/percentage.

Example :-

Quanta 49
Verbal 35

Total 680
I am gonna get u my love(GMAT)
