I just took the gmat and scored a 48Q 37V which equated to a 690 on my unofficial score report. I have to admit that this score bummed me out a bit. I am currently a medical student and was told by my university that a score of 700 or higher would make me eligible for a scholarship (since I would be an MD/MBA student). I only used the official guide to study, but I got a 710 on the free practice GMAT. My question is this: How come my 48Q 37V is a 690 and every other identical score posted online is a 700. Do the section scores required to achieve a 700 change from year to year or test to test? Thanks.
