Did pretty bad.

by ferns » Mon Dec 10, 2007 5:31 pm
Got a 530.. Really bad. I guess i got nervous. The day before i had done a GMATPrep Test and scored 640.. Infact i was consistently scoring in that range for all my practicetests with MGMAT as well and was sure i would get atleast in that range.. Was really upset.
Its too late for this years application.
I am considering taking a course with Manhattan GMAT and applying next year. But am not sure if thats going to guarantee to help me score a 700.
Please advice.

Thanks a lot for replying Guest... I was hoping to get more response from the forum. I dont want to try with a 530 cause i know that i would not be able to get into some of the best univ... i have good grades, but only 7 months of work experience however i have done my masters too..I have a diverse education background and many schools i got in touch with told me that it was a good booster for my application..

ANyways thanks for your reply. if you know about how the Manhattan GMAT 9week course is pl let me know..

Hi ferns:

Glad to see that this minor setback hasn't deterred you from your business school dreams! I think it's a wise move to regroup and make sure you get the best GMAT score prior to applying.

The MGMAT course has gotten a lot of great reviews from this community. To read some testimonials, check out: https://www.beatthegmat.com/discounts.html.

Good luck!

Also, think about taking a week or two off from anything related to the GMAT or MBA. It seems like you are committed to another round of studying, but I don't want you to get burnt out from the process.

Take it easy before you get back into things!
