I have no idea what GMAT is and how it is scored, but recently I decide to take a test because I plan to compete for the admission which is really a brutal fight!
I plan to take the test in Nov 2008.
Awaiting your valuable information with thanks.

Hi,

Since you're starting from scratch, I'd recommend going out and buying a GMAT prep guide from one of the reputable test prep companies. There will be a long introductory section that can tell you how GMAT scores work and what topics you'll see on the test. You'll also get loads of practice problems and tips on how to approach them.

Also, go to mba.com (the website of the folks who make the GMAT). You'll get more info there, and be able to take two free practice exams to get a feel for how the test works.

Happy studying!
