Hello!
A big thank you to the folks at Stacy Blackman Consulting for their expert opinions and great advice.
I am planning on taking my GMAT in a couple of months & I have been doing some research on what I would like to pursue.
Background:
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, India (around 70% Aggregate)
Masters in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Univ of Missouri (3.3 GPA)
I have 4 years of experience in Land Development projects, FEMA Flood Related projects. Recently I have been working on Ecorestoration work more on the Environmental Engineering side. I am planning on getting my LEED license (Green Building Rating System ) sometime in 2009.
I am keen on pursuing a Part-Time MBA in "Energy/Natural/Renewable Resources" in the NJ/NYC area. Though I might have the experience I am not sure if I will have any outstanding professional experience or leadership roles to put on my application. I plan on applying for Fall 10. I am interested in NYU-part time and I am not certain they have the curriculum to match my interests.
So my questions for you are:
1) Between now and my time to apply, what activities (volunteer) would you recommend which would enhance my chances, given my unique background
2) What schools should I be looking at in the NJ/NYC area
Thank you for your opinion.
