Shattering 610 !!

by suddhasil » Wed Nov 14, 2007 4:56 am
Hi,

I am really disappointed with a score of 610(Q48 V25). My state one month before the test was pretty bad as I was struggling with verbal. My verbal was very bad that time (https://www.beatthegmat.com/1-month-to-g ... t5995.html) but after following the advice given in my previous post, I improved my score to a consistent 31-34 in verbal. I consistently got scores of 650 (Q47 V31), 670(Q49 V31) (GMAT Prep) 660 (Q50 V33) (Kaplan) in my practice tests (One month before the test I got scores of 570(Q48, V20), 610(Q51, V23) and 570(Q47, V22)). But unfortunately the one which matters dumped me…..

I will definitely retake the test in the near future. Please suggest ways to assure a better verbal score.

Weakness:
1.Never confident with any verbal answer choices I choose.
2.Even though my RC has improved, it’s still my weakest link.
3.Sometimes I am stuck with CR for a long time.
4.One thing I noted during the test is that in quant I finished the section 8 min before time and in verbal 10 min before time….

Please advice how to start the second time around.

Thanks

I feel LSATs are good work for CRs, as well as the MGMAT book, also very thorough.

and obviously, the MGMAT SC book.
