Profile Evaluation

Hello, I would like to know if I have chances for admission in top 50 MBA programs in the world.

I have a GMAT score of 740 (Q50,V40). I am currently international undergraduate student in a University in the US.
I am graduating in May 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with a Minor in Mathematics. My current Undergraduate GPA is 3.86/4.00. My major GPA is 4.00/4.00.

Additional Experience:
I have a part time job in the University as Help Desk Consultant in the ITS Department.
I had an internship in the The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Bulgaria for one month.

Since I am still doing my BA I have little relevant work experience and I know this is my biggest disadvantage since top MBA programs require 3 to 5 years of work experience.

Taking that into consideration I would like to know if I have chances for admission in top 50 MBA programs in the world.

Your stats are great! Both your GMAT score and your GPA will place you in the competitive range for top programs. However, your lack of work experience will be a drawback for many programs. Work experience is key because it allows you to contribute experiences to the class and also provides you with a context for understanding the business principles you're learning. Two programs to look into are Harvard's 2+2 (open to college Juniors) and the Yale Silver Scholars (geared towards college seniors).

Best of luck!
