700 47M 39V

Just took the test and I am fairly happy with my score. I studied for a month, about 20 hours a week. I actually didnt finish the last question on the verbal which should have boosted me to 40 or 41 on verbal.

Practice Test Scores (IN THIS ORDER):
1)Gmat Prep: 47M - didnt do verbal
2) MGMAT 650
3) MGMAT 670
4) MGMAT630 - RAN OUT OF TIME
5) MGMAT 690
6) MGMAT 730
7) GMAT PREP 750

Prep Material: Gmat 800, OG and OG Verbal, MGMAT SC and all Math, and main Kaplan

Ranking from Best to Worst:

1) MGMAT SC
2) Kaplan 800
3) OG - full
4) OG - verbal
5) main Kaplan book
6) MGMAT math books

My problem was finding difficult questions to practice with. The only place I was adequately satisfied was with MGMAT SC and Kaplan 800, as well as the 6 MGMAT practice tests and 2 GMAT Prep tests.

I would recommend, first going over MGMAT SC until you have got all the sentence correction rules down. That area seems to be the one area someone can improve dramatically. In addition, doing well on SC will give you more time for CR and RC which will improve those scores. After that, take GMATPrep test 1 to get an idea where you stand. Then brush up on all of the formulas and rules for the math section -- there really isnt that much. Im talking about 3-4-5 triangles and their x-xSqrt of 3 - 2x lengths. That kind of stuff. Then go through the OG books. Every problem you get wrong, make sure to review the answer until you understand what you did wrong. Once finished with all that, try Kaplan 800. Continue to review all problems you got wrong or dont understand. Then move on to the MGMAT practice tests and whatever others tests you can get ahold of.

Congrats! It would have been nice to have finished off that last verbal question, but still a great score.
