First of all check with each program individually as to whether it will consider someone who already has an MBA. Some will. Some won't.

Secondly, could you please tell me your GMAT and GPA? Either you omitted them or for some reason I am simply not seeing them.

Thanks a lot for your response. I have not given my GMAT but I expect to score at least 700 if not more. Please evaluate me on that basis. In my BBA I had an aggregate of 70% (India) and in MBA I have (3.5/5). There is also a typo error I have an aggregate of 2.5 years of experience not 4.5.
My reasons for Second MBA are as follows:
1. Networking
2. To gain access to jobs in top Consulting or IB firms (former), PE and Hedge Funds.
3. My First MBA was right out of my BBA without any work ex and that program is not widely recognized.
Please share your thoughts on the reasons I have mentioned.
How difficult is it to get in if the applicant already has an MBA?
Also how do you think I can further strengthen my application?

I think you need to strengthen your reasons for wanting a second MBA. The schools don't want to think that you are simply applying to get your ticket punched. Talk in terms of the knowledge you need to acquire and how their programs will fill gaps in your skill set that need to be filled if you are to move from PE to MC.

The schools will find your Middle Easter and PE experience attractive. With a high GMAT, good essays, and good interviews, you will have a competitive chance at those top programs that will consider those who already have an MBA.

To strengthen your application get a high GMAT score and be prepared to discuss leadership and initiatives taken on and off the job.

Best,
Linda Abraham
