Beat the GMAT.. 770 Q 51 V 42

by btgmat_2010 » Wed Dec 08, 2010 6:02 pm
Took my test last Saturday and I can say that I BEAT THE GMAT. Most of Quantitative was easy (comparable to OG), but Verbal was too tough compared to OG. 2 of the RC passages (including the long one) were too complex and convoluted and took away a lot of my time. Same goes for CR, with most of CR arguments kinda difficult to comprehend. SC saved me restore parity for the time lost in the RC and CR portions and I am glad I spent some time going through grammar concepts. Since I thought Quant was too easy and Verbal was too tough, I actually contemplated cancelling my score, but I am glad The Almighty let me keep my brains in place and go ahead with the score reporting. I was surprised by the 770, but it is a really happy feeling.

As far as AWA is concerned, I think I did a good job with the Argument Analysis, but didn't do that well with the Issue Essay. So let's see what comes of that when the official score report comes in later.

JUST DO IT!!

congratulations on cracking the test.
I have seen a post by BTG another member who experienced his quant score down last week. Probably you had practiced more and had feeling of GMAT questions easier than OG.

My mba.com account profile now says "Score reportable". What does that mean - that my AWA has been graded and reportable to schools? If yes, then when do I get to see my official report? I believe once the scores are reportable, they are sent to schools within a week.

Any ideas!!

whatever your score it will be reported! you haven't canceled your score, hence it's reportable

That is such a ridiculous score just think about it, 770. That is absurd, like a fairy tale or something.

Much luck, even though you dont need it!
