Congratulations on a really good score !

A week ago i was talking to my former professor at university. He said that last year couple of students he taught, got admitted to LBS. They had no more than 700 on the GMAT. So definitely 710 is enough. At least GMAT score will not be a purpose to seize your app.

No problem now! You have the GMAT box checked; a 710 will get you into any business school in the world.

Just write some witty essays and tell them how bad you want to go to the school, without sounding desperate, and let the chips fall. Apply to more than one school in the case that LBS has a lapse of judgment.

Good luck!

I forgot! I just saw an LBS admin officer at the QS World MBA Fair in San Francisco this weekend. He said that they had a cut-off score of 650, with no particular preference above that, and use the same "holistic" approach to the applications that seems to be pretty popular.
