720 Score

by jesseunc1 » Tue Mar 09, 2010 2:29 pm
Hi everyone,

When I scored a 720 it said it was the 94th percentile, but on the thread it says a 720 is the 96th percentile?

How is it possible to be both?

Thank you to anyone who answers.

Congrats on the 720! That is because the percentiles change over time. I believe you are talking about Eric's post (beatthegmat). He took the GMAT a few years back when a 720 was the 96th percentile. Generally, more people score a 720 now then when Eric took the GMAT.
