GMAT Grade - Send it or not ????????

by brz » Thu Jan 28, 2010 11:03 am
Hi Lisa,

I`m taking the GMAT for the fourth time next monday. I`m wondering whether I should send the grade to my target schools. If i don`t send it, can the schools track my Monday attempt? Is it possible to take the GMAT in "stealth mode"?

If it is, it makes sense to take the test and pay the fee to have the grade sent if it fits my needs. I`m planning to do it......

Best,

Brz

Dear brz,

The schools will only see your GMAT score for Monday if 1) you send the score report to them or 2) you send a score report of a later attempt. The official score reports sent to schools do show the previous three test attempts at the bottom. So, if you are applying this year, then I think you can probably go ahead and take the test Monday without it being "seen" during your application evaluations. Should you do well, then you can send it later.

Good luck,
Lisa
