Hi Stacy,
Please evaluate my profile for admission to Berkeley's Evening and Weekend MBA Program.
Gender: Male
Age: 33
Origin: Brazilian
Occupation: Principal Engineer at Nokia Inc.
Work Experience: 9 years, 8 of which in the Mobile Telecom industry. Manager for 4 of those 9 years. Several "Exceptional" performance awards and several raises at current company.
GMAT: 690 (Q40, V44) and 680 (Q41, V42). Botched Quant twice
Education: AAS in IT large Brazilian school (GPA 3.3), BS in IT from UMass Lowell (GPA 3.91).
Extra-curriculars: very few. Co-wrote a technical book, musician, krav-maga practicioner, volunteer project manager, volunteer with charities in Brazil in the mid 90s.
My main concern is the stupid quant results from my two GMAT attempts. I cracked under the pressure and missed many of the first questions. I do have Calculus, Statistics, Discrete Structures, and Linear Algebra under my belt, however (all As).
Thank you!
Daniel
