730

by dfrndez » Thu Aug 27, 2009 6:59 am
Hi All,

I received a 730 on my exam (49/40) that I took yesterday, it was around what I was getting on the GMAT Prep and the MGMATs a couple of weeks before the exam. Though I don't post much on this site, I do look a lot at the forums here for inspiration and guidance in studying prep. And they worked!

I had a question for test takers. Yesterday, when I took my test, their software had problems reading my palm so they took up 3.5 minutes of my time for one of the sections. I was a bit surprised that I still got a 40 on the Verbal with that setback. Has anyone ever heard of this happening before. At the very least I plan to complain to the GMAT folks atleast to note this incidence, if this had happened on the Math Section I would have gotten no where near a 49.

I'll have more time later this week so I will try to post the debrief then.

Hi dfrndez, When you started Verbal, was your time counter showing 71.5 minutes?

If that is the case, probably u may have missed out on getting more than 40..
