A request : please post one q per thread...

However,

Q 134 : "The rarer the more" is the key here...

we have two choices like that..but 'E' is what conveys/retains the proper meaning of the questin.

Q 136 : 'D' removes the modifier confusion.

Q 140: I got confused a lot !!
To me 'A' is awkward because using of and twice..
'B' sounds redundant
'E' is not logical
I chose 'D' but looks like the 2nd portion can't be treated as individual sentence (since usage of semicolon)

So 'C' may be the right ans.
