Marketing - Brand Management

by sachin_Anand » Wed Oct 27, 2010 1:48 am
hii ,

In searching for some of the good B schools having good product management concentration ,I have come across these names :

Indiana , Wisconsin , DePaul ,Cornell

Can people with the same interest ( Brand Management ) confirm about BM concentration in these schools .
which other schools have good BM concentration ?

Thanks
Sachin

Sachin,

I went to IU and Kelley for undergrad and can safely tell you that it is a fantastic school and great for b management. Cornell is a great school, but I am unsure of its marketing ranking. Wisconsin is a tier two school, but probably has a good b mgt program and Madison is a great town. Depaul is a tier three school. I live in Chicago and if you want to end up in Chi then it is good, but otherwise has no nationwide recognition and in my opinion is more of a part time school for working Chicagoans.

As the previous guy said Kellogg is tops. Brand management is more prevalent in the midwest because that is where a lot of factories and CPG companies are. The important thing for BM is to know where you want to end up, as long as you go to a decent school, local CPGs will recruit you, and if you go to a tier one school that isn't even that known for BM it will still help a lot.
