Hi,
Should I time myself on the practice questions sent in the 60 Day guide, or focus more on the concepts for now? Also, I am thinking of getting the GMATPrep® Question Pack 1. How can I make it part of 60 Day guide or should I work on those during the practice days at the end of the guide?
Please suggest.

I suggest that you save the question pack until you've completed all of the learning activities.
Here's an outline of all 60 emails: https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/gmat-guide-outline. As you can see, Day 42 is the last day you'll learn new content, and the practice begins. So you can start working on the GMATPrep® Question Pack any time after that.
Cheers,
Brent
