Hello everyone ,
I have been preparing for the GMAT for 6 months. I began from the scratch. I took a practise test and I scored 340.My score was expected since I just learned english and did not practise math for 2 years. after taking E-gmat and magoosh course , my score jumped to 450 (Q45,V7 IR 0) in 3 months. Then i spent another 3 months practicing from OG.I was very happy since i improved significantly some question became very easy and i thought i was going to achieve at least 580.However , I took the official test 3 week ago and i was surprised seeing my score. ; i scored 460 (v19,Q36,IR2 and 3.5 AWA). I realised that i was far away from my goal which at least 600. I was discouraged.( very bad). However , i decided to retake the exam ,but this time i won't do anything unless it is recommended from an expert.I did not follow any study plan during my preparation.
Even though i felt i did well in math , my score was Q36.LAST two question i had almost 10 minutes. in the exam some questions i did them twice.I really don't know what happened. For the verbal section , I really don't know what to say. I feel that this section is very hard and honestly I don't what to do. slow reader , i took too much time to come up with the assumptions , confusing words ,not able to understand the passage and argument clearly.
I did a lot of mistakeS , and i really don't want to repeat them again for example i took just 2 cats before the exam (i really could not handle the exam) i got really tired during the verbal section.
My goal is to achieve 600 as soon as possible and then i will aim for 650
right now ,GMAT is the most important and urgent task to do and i'm willing to spend 5 hrs a day
I'm going to purchase another course but i'm not sure which one . I have tried one hours for free (EMPOWERgmat) and i really loved it.However I'm not sure yet
THANK YOU
