scored 680 :-( ... is it the end of road ?

by akumar8 » Fri May 25, 2012 6:18 am
Hello All,

I appeared for GMAT few days back and scored 680 . It is needless to say that I am dissapointed a lot from this score . I was expecting around 710-720 . Could anyone please guide me about future path . What are my chances to get a call from good MBA colleges such as INSEAD , BOSTON, HEC , IMD ? Any advice would be appreciated .

My profile is as below :

1) Worked in a software firm[ Cognizant Technology solutions] for two years [ client was JP Morgon Chase]
2) Worked in Software development division of Lehman Brothers for 4 months.
3) Worked in Software divison of Nomura Holding for 4 years
3)CFA level 1 and level 2 certification
4) FRM level 1 certification
5) Some certifications in Java technology
6) Graduation from a reputed Engineering college .

Not much to show as extra curricular activity during college period though .

Would really appreciate any suggestion . I am in desperate need of guidance.

You have great work experience, don't sell yourself so short....

So the answer to your question is yes, it is the end of the road- but only if you want it to be.

Apply, do your best, you might just make it in.
