This is my second post on this forum. I have an important test center strategy that helped me do well on the GMAT, even possibly helping me break the 700 mark. I would like to share it with you.
I wrote my test at the Durham Computer College Center in Pickering, Ontario. The lady at the front desk offered me an ear muff when I was about to write the exam. I used the ear muff throughout the exam and I am positive that the silence helped me focus much better. I was in a room with 4 other people writing different tests on computers so the typing and clicking sounds would have disturbed me.
Since this is my first GMAT exam, I am unsure whether this is standard practice or not, but if it isn't, I definitely recommend that you ask your test center in advance to provide one.
