Hey guys,

I just recently took the GMAT a couple of days ago scored really low, 450. I took a course with Kaplan which I found kind of difficult for myself, on average with the Kaplan prep tests I scored an average of 480. I'm planning on re-taking the course and writing the exam in about 2-3 months, hopefully it will help me out.

Is this enough time to help me boost my score? Considering the fact that I am also working full time and don't have that much time to study.

I aiming for 600's, not asking much, but I need tips on how to improve my score. My math and verbal were pretty equal on the GMAT scored (Q25;V23).

Any tips?? Any suggestions??

The help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Sorry to hear about your experience today.

2-3 months should be sufficient time to re-study for the test, but you will need to be very disciplined to make sure your studying is consistent. It seems like you are a busy guy and that you don't have much time for studying--the truth is that if you can't make the time, it's going to be tough to improve dramatically.

Re-taking the course may be one good option, but also think about doing some self prep that emphasizes tactically identifying and addressing your weaknesses--check out https://beatthegmat.blocked and https://www.beatthegmat.com/resources.html for examples on how to create study plans that emphasize improving upon weaknesses. Also, if you have some disposable income, think about hiring a private tutor to help tailor your prep, since going from 450 to 600+ won't be easy.
