A little known option presented on the MBA.com website is a $45 fee to have independant graders re-score your essays, if you think your essays were graded incorrectly for some reason. However, although I've been in the test-prep business for 10 years and a GMAT specialist for 5, I can't think of a single student who has actually taken advantage of this rule!
In the interests of informing myself, my students, and the folks here at BeatTheGMAT, I'd love to hear from anyone who has paid for this second shot at essay scoring. Why did you decide to do it? What was the process like? And, what was the final result?
Thanks for sharing!
