Please suggest

Hi,

I am new this forum. I have given my GMAT test twice till date. I gave the exam for the first time in July 2008 and scored 600(Q:44, V:27). I was upset and decided not to give it a shot for sometime. I started my prep again in Jan 2009 and gave my test today and scored 590 (Q:46, V:25).
I feel extremely ashamed and am falling short of ideas. I have solved the OG11, Kaplan. Had given quite a few tests as well. Prior to the exam i scored 640 in the gmac provided test. i used to consistently score 530-540 in kaplan and my last test in kaplan test score was 580. I find the verbal section especially SC very difficult. The last time when i gave my test i tried to identify the problem by just reading the options and selecting the one which sounds better. This time i tried to memorize rules, idioms. I tried to spot the error and never think about how it sounds.
RC at times if the passage is to my liking i do well otherwise i perform poorly. CR was better compared to others.

Can someone please help and suggest ? I wish to apply for 2010 admissions.

Kaplan is great for students aiming for 500-650. However, students trying to score higher should consider a different source of prep such as Manhattan GMAT or PowerScore.
