My scores Q43 V32 (620)

I want to take it again within a month. I was performing much better on the Powerprep (1st time 1 month ago I got 650). I believe the best strategy now is to focus on the verbal and keep a maintenance work on the math that will naturally improve. What's the best material to improve the verbal, specially the RC and CR areas? Please, share your thoughts. Thanks!

Could you share more information on your prep for some one on the forum to help you? What were the different practice tests you did and how much you scored on them? What were the material you worked through? What is your target score? The strategy required for a retake prep would depend on what have you done so far.

Prasanna,

My preparation took 2 months. I started studing from different sources, Kaplan Premier, Kaplan 800, retired tests, etc in a quite unorganized way. I took few prep tests. I took powerprep one month ago and felt very confident because I scored 650 (Q44) and my target is 700. However, 10 days ago I took another powerprep and scored 590. Desperate, I bought Manhattan full tests and did them all. The math scored varied from 43 to 47 and the verbal from 34 to 40. In the day prior to the test I took Kaplan online practice and scored 620. I though it was ok because these scores sometimes push you down. However, surprise, yesterday I got 620 on the real test. I think my weakness are DS, CR and RC. Manhattan helped me to improve my PS performance and confidence. I hope I've given you a better picture.

Thanks a lot for you help.
