I took my first GMATPrep practice test and scored a 670. I looked at my results and thought I should have scored higher but I'll let you be the judge. Here is some info about my exam:
-Quant
I got 14 wrong in the quant section but only got 2 wrong between 26-37 so I thought I finished fairly strong.
-Verbal
I got 8 wrong in the verbal section but only got 1 wrong between 25 and 41 so I thought here I finished very strong.
I took a MGMAT practice exam a few weeks ago and scored a 700 and I got 16 wrong in the Quant and 14 wrong in the verbal, both less than on the GMATPrep. I know that the exams are adaptive but I figured that if I got less wrong and and finished stronger on the GMATPrep exam that I would have had a higher score than 670? Can anybody give me some insight here? Did anybody else have the same experience? My goal is to break 700, do you think I am good shape to do that on the real exam based on my last 2 practice exams? Are the GMATPrep practice exams harder? Is the scoring a little off on the GMATPrep exams? Has anybody gotten close to the same amount of questions wrong in both sections and scored higher? Any Insight will help, thanks.
