GMAT Study Time

I apologize if this question was asked many times before, but for all you 700+ people, about how many hours / months did you spend studying? I realize it varies based on ability but I am curious.

I think you may be asking the wrong question. Hours of prep aren't nearly as important as quality of prep. You could be studying less than an hour a day but making great progress if you stick to a good study strategy/schedule.

In general though, I would say that an hour per day for 2-3 months is appropriate for your prep. You can read about my old GMAT prep strategy in my original GMAT blog found here: https://beatthegmat.blocked

That's understandable. I was trying to gauge the effort needed in general for some folks. I've been doing the CFA for a number of years and was trying to get a feel as this is a very different type of test. Thx!
