Hello GMATeers,
I had first given GMAT on 22nd Nov 2011 and got 590 (V-25, Q-46) so decided to give it again but somehow things got delayed and finally gave it today and got 640 (V-29, Q-48) , quite less than my dream score of above 700. For Verbal everything was going fine (was pretty sure of the first 30 Verbal answers marked today , 4-5 questions can be wrong at max. ) except time because I realised that 10 questions were remaining when 6 minutes were left and those 10 questions included RC questions as well. Since it is said that penalty for not completing the test is much more than giving wrong answers, I ended up guessing the questions 32-36 as didn't have much time to read RC in detail. Also, couldn't give much attention to remaining CR/SC questions and ending up chosing the options very quickly. Not sure if this could be cause of very less verbal score and a overall score of 640. For this time's prepration focused mainly on OG12 and Princeton and other resources mentioned below. Had done Kaplan for Nov 2011 exam but didn't touch it this time. Have been giving GMAT Prep Tests (old and new) and used to get scores between 660,680,690, 710.

Can you please share your thoughts what needs to be done to achieve my dream score of over 700 ? What best we can do to get an idea of how our prepration is going before giving the exam. I plan to take next month's date for exam again and hope to increase score.
Can anyone please tell if we get Verbal 28 and Quant 48, how many questions would have been incorrect ?
