One major reason why movies cost as much is that the very same work rules and union policies that allow a film crew to run lika well oiled machine also impose a hefty tax on flexibility.

a. why movies cost as much is that the very same work rules and union policies that allow

b. movies cost so much is that the very same work rules and union policies that let

c. that movies cost as much as they do, is that the very same work rules and union policies that allow

d. why movies cost as much is because the very same work rules and union policies that allow

e. for movies costing as much they do, is the same rules and union policies that let
OA: C
OA is C: In all the other options, there is some error with 'comparison'.

I think "as much as they do" is required as the sentence is actually comparing the current movies cost
from the older movies cost...because after comma the sentence includes..."the very same work rules and union policies"
the very same means current rules and policies are same as they were earlier.....so a comparison is needed
in the first half of the sentence....

Thats why C
