Let the number z be 0.abcdefg
We need to find the number b

(a) -> 100z = ab.cdefg and c =2. no idea of b. INSUFFICIENT
(b) -> 1000z= abc.defg and c =2 . SUFFICIENT

combining...it means the same...hence, INSUFFICIENT
IMO, E

Let the number z be 0.abcdefg
We need to find the number C

(a) -> 100z = ab.cdefg and d =2. no idea of C. INSUFFICIENT
(b) -> 1000z= abc.defg and c =2 . SUFFICIENT

IMO, B
Hi,
In 0.abcdefg, a is tenths digit and b is hundredths digit
So, we need to find b
a. 100z = ab.cdefg, c = 2. Insufficient to find b
b. 1000z = abc.defg, c = 2. Insufficient to find b

Hence, E
Cheers!
