I just took the GMAT and did horrible. My scores were equally low in both verbal and quantitative. At first, it discouraged me, but I think I just needed a day to digest. My goal is a 600. Does this sound like a possible score to obtain in 6 weeks? If so, I need guidance on how to study. I would really like to get the test over with before the IR section is introduced. Thanks!
There are a number of factors to consider:
1) How far away from 600 was your score? You said it was horrible, but that could mean a lot of different things.
2) Were there any particular areas that gave you the most trouble? (algebra, sentence correction, etc.)
3) How much time do you have to study each week?
It's entirely reasonable to score over 600 in 6 weeks, but there are a lot of variables involved.
