Scaled scoring

by KMart87 » Wed Jun 03, 2009 11:38 am
I just took a practice exam in the back of a McGraw-Hill book. I scored a 24 out of 37 on the Quant section and a 32 out of 41 on the Verbal section. However, I can't find a way to derive a "GMAT" score out of it.

Is there any simple math I can do?

Kmart,

I am sure there is a table that allow you to convert, but since it was paper, it is not accurate. I would suggest taking a GMATPrep CA or any other cat (MGMAT, Kaplan) to get a baseline score. Paper tests are not reliable.

Thanks for the quick response. One more questions for you. Can I take the GMAT prep over and over or is it limited use exam?

640 to 680. My educated guess

hey...

you can take it 2 times and this will guarentee you no repeat q's....however, if you uninstall it and re-install it, the q's are different and you might run into a couple..

On the real GMAT test, a Quant score of 22 and a Verbal score of 33 produced a 480.
