180) Calculate distance

by ern5231 » Wed Oct 07, 2009 7:36 pm
The cost of delivery of certain items is as follows : If the distance is more than 4 yards then 18 dollars are paid for every yard but if the distance is less than/equal to 4 yards then 4 dollars are paid per yard. There are two groups that do the delivery of items - R & T. The group R paid 52 Dollars. How many yards did T travel?

1) Total money paid by group Y and T is 70 Dollars
2) Total travel by both groups is 15 yards.
