Hi,

I have a score of 700 (Q49 V36) and an AWA score of 5. My question is, how good is AWA score of 5. My second question is, is 36 a very low score, and if so will my AWA help to offset that in any way?

Please help.

Thanks,

AWA of 5 is perfectly fine. Nobody seems to care if you have a 6 or 5. below 4 may look a bit bad though depending on where you are trying to get in.

V36 is not excellent but good enough (for US Top 10). 700 is absolutely in the ballpark (as you know). Your GMAT score is good enough for any school. Dont worry too much about it.
