hi stacy/ lisa,

thank you for your time in advance.

im an international student and am wondering - for schools which i hve to turn in contacts from my EC's, should i try to find someone that speaks english in my organization? I doubt the people in positions of responsibility can communicate with the admin committee... or will they somehow contact them in my native language (if it does contact them...)? i don't really know if this is worth my time worrying about, but i woudlnt want to list someone i hardly know just because he/she speaks english and be penalized for it

thank you!

Dear mikel00p,

Interesting question...It is always best to put the person that can answer the questions best and speak highly of you. It is highly unlikely these folks will be contacted. Since these are international contacts, the school cannot expect these folks to have a command of English, as they do of you, so I think they will prepare for that possibility. Either way, it will not reflect poorly on you.

Good luck,
Lisa
