Hi texas_state11,
Welcome to BTG.
To get you started, here's a free video overview of the GMAT:
https://www.gmatprepnow.com/module/gener ... es?id=1250
Two things you should do right away:
1) Get a copy of the Official Guide for GMAT Review (aka OG13:
https://www.amazon.com/The-Official-Guid ... 1118109791) This book was created by the test-makers and is a must-have for all GMAT preppers.
2) Take an official practice test (free download here:
https://www.mba.com/the-gmat/download-fr ... tware.aspx) Taking a practice test will give you an idea of your current abilities and provide a baseline score to improve upon. Once you've taken the practice test you'll have a general idea of how much work you have ahead of you in order to achieve your target score.
After that, you might consider signing up for BTG's free 60-Day Study Guide (
https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/gmat-guide).
This will help keep your studies on track, and ensure that you cover everything that the GMAT tests.
All the best,
Brent
