Ok to the question now ..

we have mod(y) < = 12 .. so that basically means y can take values from .. -12 to 12 ..

we also have 2x+y = 12 .. so x = (12-y)/2 ..

so for x to be an integer y has to take even integer values .. from -12 to 12 y can have 13 even integer values .. so there can be 13 ordered pair of(x,y) where both of them are integers .. So the answer is 13

Hi gabriel!

Yes...I was just taking a LONG break and started working on GMAT study a few days ago.. While taking break, I bought a lot of questions online, so I would probably post many - appreciate your help in advance!

So, this question, yes the answer is D)

but I found only 12 that would meet the equestion...from -12 -10....0 2...10 (since 12 would be zero?) OR 12 should be included?
