You must rewrite the question to a simpler way. From what I have learned from Kaplan, you must always try to rewrite what is being questioned.
xy+z= x(y+z)
xy+z= xy+xz
xy+z-xy-xz=0
z-xz=0
z(1-x)=0

so z must =0 and
1-x=0
1=x

Correct answer E

Good luck!
