Grad school gpa Calculation

by sssilverman » Fri Jun 17, 2011 10:08 am
Hello,

I will be applying to mba programs in the coming years as I gather work experience. I just graduated from cal poly slo, with a gpa of 3.845. I looked on the mba.com website, and it seems as though it considers an A- as a 4.0. At my school, an A- is a 3.7 and affected my gpa a bit.

So how do mba programs look +/- grades. Is an A- a 3.7 or will I need to recalculate my gpa before applying? Thanks.

Most schools strongly suggest that you report whatever GPA the school has provided in the official transcripts. Also your GPA is great so why worry? :)
