In a group of 80 college students, how many own a car?

(1) Of the students who do not own a car, 14 are male.
(2) Of the students who own a car, 42% are female.

Stmnt II tells that females who own a car is 42% of students owing a car

Let students owning a car be x , so females who own a car is 42% of x = (21/50)*x

Now (21/50)*x got to be an integer as its actual no of females who own a car , which means x must be divisible by 50 , so x could be 50 , 100 , etc
But total no of students = 80 , so x is 50 -- Hence sufficient
