rakes produced Nov - Feb = 4x

rakes shipped ever month Mar -Oct = x/2

total rakes produced - total rakes shipped = 4x - 8x/2 = 0

This means no rakes were left after october.

4x - x/2 = 7x/2 = 7x/2 * .10 = .35x

7x/2 - x/2 = 6x/2 = .30x

6x/2 - x/2 = 5x/2 = 25x

5x/2 - x/2 = 4x/2 = .20x

Now you can identify the pattern with a difference of 0.05, till the final term i.e. 0

35+30+25+20+15+10+5+0 = 140

Total cost = 1.40x
