If 3 sandwiches were divided between m people, then each person got 3/m share.

if 1 sandwich had to be divided between (m - 4) people, each person would get 1/(m-4) share.

So Carol's total share is 3/m + 1/(m-4) = (4m - 12)/m(m-4)
