--> 290 = 5/9*(K - 32) --> 290 x5/9 = K-32 --> 522 = k-32 --> k = 554

oh sorry guest I did a basic mistake it will be actually 290 = 5/9*(K - 32) --> 290 x9/5 = K-32 ...but ans is correct ...I did mistake in haste ..actually i m solving problem on lappy only without pen and paper...well thanks for pointing out the mistake..TheGuest wrote:Well you got it wrong =) Not "290 x5/9" but "290/(5/9)"
I see what I did wrong here. I got K-32=522 instead of K=522+32 I did K=522-32. As always just need to pay attention to details.
