Explanation of Large Q and V score

by khurramaziz786 » Fri Aug 09, 2013 7:36 am
Hello Everyone.

1- I have a query which I am sure most of u can answer.
2- To the best of my knowledge, the max questions in Quant and Verbal are less than 40.
3- If this is the situation, then how can we interpret scores like Q49, V42. Please explain. Does it mean the person has 49 correct answers in math section and 42 correct in verbal.

I look forward for the answer,

Regards,

There are always 37 questions in the quantitative section and 41 questions in the verbal section.
Your section scores are not based on how many questions you answer correctly; they're based on the level of difficulty of the questions you answer correctly.
