In normal printing mode, 20 printers can print 100 pages in 3 minutes. In economy mode, printers work 20% faster than in normal mode. How many printers are required to print 180 pages in 3 minutes in economy mode? (A) 25 (B) 28 (C) 29 (D) 30 (E) 32
i calculated by MDH/W formula where m is men or printers d - days ( not applicable here ) H hours converted here into minutes W is the work done but my solution is wrong i dont know how to put 20 % faster thing in this formula

Hi,

Normal mode: 20 printers->100 pages => 1printer 5pages in 3 mins
Economy mode: 20% faster means each printer can print (1+(20/100)*5 = 6 pages in 3mins
So, number of printers required for 180 pages = 180/6 = 30

Hence, D
