If not US citizen/national,can I appear for GMAT in US?

Hi,

I am in US presently but I do not have US citizenship/nationality, Can I appear for GMAT here?
Can you please tell me how long it takes to receive a printed score report by mail.

Hi Satish:

I believe that you can still take the GMAT in the United States, even if you aren't a US citizen. The best way to see for sure is to call your local test center.

Printed score reports typically take 2-3 weeks to arrive at your mailbox after the day you take your test.

I am in the same category as yours. You can take the test in any centre of your choice. Dont forget to take your PASSPORT to the centre. This is in addition to your local ID. Read through the appointment instructions.

I got my score card in a weeks time.

In addition to what Prasanna mentioned, make sure that the name on your passport is the same as the name you registered to take the test with. One guy who was ahead of me got turned down because his name didn't match!

Thank you all for information. I guess I have a situation here. Name on my Passport says First Name : Satish Kumar and Surname : FNU
But on my id in US it says First Name: Satish and Surname : Kumar and
on y SSN it says First Name : Satish Kumar and Surname : FNU
It s kind of messeed up as Passport office in India left my surname column blank and wrote that in name colummn. I would like to appear with First name 'Satish' and second name 'Kumar' becuase as soon as I go back to India I will get my passport corrected with First name Satish and Surname Kumar. Please suggest what should I do.
