You might consider signing up for Beat The GMAT's free 60-Day Study Guide (https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/gmat-guide). Over 40,000 Beat The GMAT students have already done so.
Each day, you'll receive an email with a series of learning activities that guide you, step-by-step, from Day 1 to test day. This will ensure that you will cover everything that the GMAT tests.

Hi vishalsaxena,

The M7 Schools are all highly competitive, so beyond having a strong GMAT score, you have to make sure that you have a strong OVERALL profile AND that you present yourself in the proper way.

That all having been said, a 610 is a good 'baseline' CAT score (the average score on the Official GMAT hovers around 540-550 most years). To score 750+ though, you'll have to make some BIG improvements to how you handle the Verbal section (and you'll probably need to 'squeeze' a few more points out of the Quant section).

I'd like to know a bit more about your overall situation:
1) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
2) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
3) How much time can you commit to studying during a typical week?

@Rich - Thanks for the response. On the questions -

1. Planning to apply in Round 1 - Sept / Oct 15 for the batch starting in 2016
2. Planning to take GMAT in 3rd / 4th week of August
3. Approx 25 hrs/week.

@Brent, I have been a subscriber to your 60-day study plan in the past and as I revive my prep (I had to take a break for a year), I am referring back to your emails. They're without doubt, pure gold. Had one query, my Math fundamentals are rusty (having finished high school more than a decade ago). Do I need to supplement my 60-day plan with something else? I have the entire MGMAT course material. My GMAT exam is two months from now. Thanks for your help!

Hi vishalsaxena,

With a planned August Test Date, you've given yourself a little over 2 more months of study time. While this might be enough time, it might not. While you don't have to make any decisions about your Test Date just yet, you should keep an open mind about possibly pushing it back a bit.

Since you're in the early stages of a study plan, you can proceed with that plan and we can see how you improve. If you end up getting 'stuck' at some point, then we can talk through the necessary adjustments that you can make.
