Serious help needed!!!!

by Padre » Wed Jul 08, 2009 8:10 am
I have been preparing for GMAT for the past 2 months. I started with OG 12th edition and then moved on to KAPLAN 800. I finished both of them quickly as I am studying 4 hours per day. After completing them I gave the two GMAT prep. I got 610 in the first and 620 in the second. There is exactly 30 days to go before the D-day!! I dont know what to do know!! I need to improve my accuracy!! I am finishing well ahead of time. But I dont know how to do it!! Should I buy some other book and try out more problems or should I just do the OG again??

Please brothers, advice me on this!!

I am aiming for 670+.

I would purchase more practice tests and perhaps access to the MGMAT question bank. I would take a practice test at least once a week up til your exam.

I would also go through the OG again, focusing on the last 2/3 of each section. If you're scoring 600, you probably know the first 1/3 well enough, and need to focus on harder questions to pull your score up.

I agree with the above - go back to the end of each OG section and work those problems again. Make sure you know them inside-out.

Also, if you're finishing early, a great way to improve your accuracy is to slow down! Leaving 15 minutes on the clock is a huge waste unless you're scoring 99th percentile. Practice your pacing so that you have time to check your work.
