I'm a rising 3rd year at UC Berkeley where I'm studying political science and public policy with the intent of pursuing a career in nonprofit management. I want to go to business school and plan to start studying for the GMAT soon, but have recently come across posts on various websites about how it's nearly impossible to go to a top business school right after college. Any opinions, thoughts, or expertise to share?
As a supplemental side note, I am incredibly confident about "what I want to do with my life," have a resume that is far, far above average, and my GPA is slightly above average for UC Berkeley. Not sure if any of this information is relevant, but I've read that things like not knowing what you want to do/lack of experience are the two caveats that keep undergrads from getting directly into business school.
