Hi there,

Could you help me to resolve this DS and explain the step of resolution

What is the remainder when the positive integer x is divided by 6 ?

1) When x is divided by 2, the remainder is 1; when x is divided by 3, the remainder is O.

2) when x is divided by 12, the remainder is 3

D

2. We get X = 12C + 3, where C is any positive integer. Since 12 is divisable by 6, answer to the question will always be 3

1. Picking numbers we get odd integers (3, 9, 15..) that satisfy the condition. answer to the question will always be 3 again

for 1st statement is we try x =3 then 3/2 gives r=1 and 3/3 gives r=0 but if x = 7 then 7/2 give r=1 and 7/3 gives r=1...

am i missing something?
